Attorney David Bloomfield
David S. Bloomfield is recognized by peers and was selected to Super Lawyers for 2004 - 2010, 2012 - 2016. Best Lawyers and has an AV Rating by Martindale Hubbel.
He has taught Immigration Law at Capital University; adjunct teacher having won Adjunct professor of the year four times. He also taught Immigration Law for 20 years at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He has lectured on Immigration Law to local state and national bar associations and written articles including in law journals on immigration matters. He has been awarded the Public Service Award from EOIR presented by Janet Reno Attorney General of the United States.
Attorney Orsolya Hamar-Hilt
Orsolya Hamar-Hilt joined Bloomfield and Kempf, LLC in September 2016. She focuses on family-based immigration, waivers, and employment-based visas. She has written articles in the local bar paper and lectured on immigration matters. She regularly teaches CLE classes at the local bar association. She serves as a mentor with the Supreme Court of Ohio and guides her mentees on immigration law.
Orsolya has a multi-cultural background. She was born in Budapest, Hungary, and earned her first Law Degree (Juris Doctorate) from Hungary. She has practiced there as a medical malpractice attorney. Orsolya attended Law School in Strasbourg, France, as an exchange (visiting) student. After moving to the USA, she earned her Master of Law's Degree (LL.M) from St. Thomas Law School in Miami, Florida.
Before deciding to practice Immigration Law, Orsolya worked at the Disciplinary Counsel with the Supreme Court of Ohio. In 2017, Orsolya received the Legal Aid Society Pro Bono award for her pro bono work. Orsolya is a member of the Columbus Bar, American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyer Association. Orsolya speaks English, Hungarian, German and Russian.
